Why Autumn Fair 2025 Marks a New Chapter for ROWDY

There’s something quietly powerful about stepping out from behind the screen.

For four years, ROWDY has built its presence in the UK through word of mouth, thoughtful campaigns, and the quiet conviction that quality always speaks for itself. But this September, we’re doing something new: we’re going to Autumn Fair.

Held at the NEC in Birmingham, Autumn Fair is one of the UK’s leading retail trade shows — and we’re proud to announce that ROWDY will be exhibiting there for the very first time.

Why now?

Because we believe it's time to let people touch, feel, and truly experience the ROWDY difference in person. While our leather bags have travelled from Cape Town workshops to over 4,000 homes across the UK, many of our customers have only met us through a screen. That’s about to change.

At Autumn Fair, we’ll be showcasing our bestselling designs — the Mountain crossbody, the Maple tote, the Cedar sling — as well as unveiling a brand new piece, created especially for the event. It’s an opportunity for buyers, retailers, and curious passers-by to explore our products up close — the smell of the leather, the fine stitch work, the weight and balance of each bag.

A maker joins us from Cape Town

What makes this moment even more meaningful is that one of our Cape Town artisans will be flying over to join us. It’s their first time in the UK — and their first opportunity to meet the customers whose lives are quietly touched by their craft.

This isn’t just a marketing moment. It’s about honouring the people behind the products. It’s about human connection — the hands that make and the hands that carry.

More than a trade show

To us, Autumn Fair 2025 isn’t about flashy displays or hard sales. It’s a chance to tell our story — the journey of ROWDY, our commitment to slow fashion, and the artistry that sits at the heart of everything we make.

We hope it’ll open doors to partnerships, retail opportunities, and a few good conversations along the way.

If you’re attending Autumn Fair, come and say hello. See what slow fashion feels like. Meet the maker. Learn the story.

It’s going to be a lovely few days engaging with you.
